I have this suspicion, like there is something about you that you’ve been trying to explain away, hide, apologize for, or even outgrow… but what if that thing has been secretly teaching you how to climb?
Now, I know when you hear the word climb, you may think I’m talking about hustling… or fighting your way to the top. But I’m not talking about climbing over people or climbing just to be seen. I’m not talking about that kind of climb.
The climb I’m talking about shows up at a moment in all of our lives when you start feeling like staying where you are is no longer an option. Not because you are ungrateful… rather because something in us realizes that our position in the crowd can no longer give us the view we need… and our soul desires.
I don’t know… but maybe that’s where you are right now. Maybe you are in a place where what works for everybody else is no longer suitable for you. There is something in you that keeps saying… there has to be another position.
But, climb for what? Climbing looks ridiculous when nobody else understands what you’re trying to see.
How many people have looked crazy before they looked correct?… I know I have.
How many people sounded ahead of their time before the world finally caught up?… I have.
How many people were misunderstood in one season, only to be studied in another season?… You get my drift.
I need you to understand… sometimes the climb does not make sense at the beginning because people think you’re doing too much, you’re too deep, blah, blah, blah. But now is the time to run ahead of the crowd and start climbing.

Can I tell you how good this purpose journey map is? I just created a space for it in the notes section of my phone. Like seriously! Class is in session and the teacher is sharing wisdom and revelation that I need. So enlightening.
There were so many nuggets dropped that it’s hard to highlight 1 specific thing that hit me the most. But since you asked for only 1, I’ll be obedient and give just one. I would say the ability to come out of the tree at the place of encounter. Not allowing insecurities to create fear and self doubt which lead to self sabotage. Hope that makes sense.
